Publication aims to raise awareness about the platform-based gig economy

A new ‘zine’ connected to the PERU project ‘Doing gig work: Social implications of platform-based food deliveries’, ‘Lyon. Platform struggles (issue 3)’, has been published.

This graphic novel is part of a series which gathers food courier stories from three European Cities: Manchester (UK), Cluj (Romania) and Lyon (France). This is a collective effort involving platform workers, researchers, artists and designers.

This publication is part of a larger project supported by the Leverhulme Trust, Pagini Libere, and Manchester Metropolitan University. MMU’s involvement is represented by PERU’s Dr Cosmin Popan.
