Peru are providing advice and support to NatCen Social Research in their work to evaluate the Crest Silver Award programme. The study is funded by the Education Endowment Foundation.
What is the need?
The CREST Awards programme aims to engage pupils in ‘hands-on science’, where teachers use a framework of activities developed by the British Science Association (BSA). These activities aim to help students run their own research projects. The programme aspires to provide students with an understanding science and develop transferable skills for the future.
What are we doing?
PERU are providing advice on the design of this study and input into the study protocol and statistical analysis plan
What will be the outcomes?
A final report is expected in Autumn 2019
What are the timescales?
Mid-2017 to Autumn 2019.
