PERU’s Kevin Wong will be hosting this FREE virtual seminar on Hate Crime and COVID-19. Part of Manchester Metropolitan University’s contribution to the Economic and Social Research Council  Festival of Social Science, this timely event will bring together, practitioners, policy advisors and researchers from the UK and Australia to consider the following urgent issues:

• Has the nature and extent of hate crime changed?
• What is being done by governmental bodies and NGOs to address any new challenges?
• Are they working?
