PERU will today launch the Reducing Reoffending website, at a Ministry of Justice ‘Insights 19’ seminar being hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University. The website is a repository of evidence about interventions designed to reduce reoffending rates amongst adult and juvenile offenders, and is a joint project between PERU and Interserve who run five community rehabilitation companies. The website has been beta tested over the last few months and will be updated in line with PERU’s ambitious programme of reviews over the next few years, which will produce summaries of existing systematic reviews of specific interventions, and the results of our Rapid Evidence Assessments.
