It includes papers that span criminal justice activity, from policing through to prisons, drawing on experiences from the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. This issue also includes a tribute to Paul Senior who passed away in the summer. Paul co-founded the journal in 2002 and was the co-editor until his retirement in 2016.
