PERU, partnership with Interserve today launched a new Reducing Reoffending website. It provides an on-line and open access repository of evidence relating to interventions which are designed to reduce reoffending.

The PERU team have developed a rigorous Rapid Evidence Assessment Methodology, and have undertaken a review of the evidence of the effectiveness of probation supervision. In addition we’ve also been summarising existing systematic reviews on other topics, such as cognitive-behavioural approaches to reducing reoffending.

The website will evolve gradually, and more content will be added. A programme of future evidence reviews can be found on the website.
