Kirstine Szifris will today give a talk at the Heyman Centre for Humanities
Kirstine Szifris will today give a talk at the Heyman Centre for Humanities, Columbia University, New York. Her talk will focus on her work researching philosophy education in prisons discussing how educational programmes might encourage personal development. She will be engaging with a range of other scholars experienced and interested in this area in a round table discussion about the role of philosophy in the lives of men in prison. The roundtable discussion is supported by Columbia’s Center for Contemporary Critical Thought and The Heyman Center for the Humanities.
