What is the need?
There is considerable interest in Justice Reinvestment in the UK and several Justice Reinvestment programmes have been implemented in the US. However, to date there is very little academic research or analysis of Justice Reinvestment to support policy in this area.
What are we doing?
We have reviewed the available literature on Justice Reinvestment, interviewed key figures in the Justice Reinvestment movement in the US and looked at projects in the UK that have implemented elements of Justice Reinvestment.
What are the outcomes?
Seminars and training sessions on Justice Reinvestment have been delivered to a number of criminal justice organisations in the UK.
