Professor Stephen Morris and Kirstine Szifris continue their series of ‘PERU-Novus: In Dialogue’ sessions with a second meeting with the Novus ENiGMA team this week. Over the past two months, the PERU team have made significant progress in the feasibility study of RCTs in prison education. The meeting this week will look to update the ENiGMA team with this progress and finalise some decisions regarding process and locations for a pilot project. The success of this research project is dependent on stakeholder engagement and this week will involve a stimulating discussion around effective delivery of English and maths functional skills in the context of a prison education department.
