UK Association For Public Administration (UKAPA) Conference Is Coming To PERU

Following the success of the UKAPA Conference in 2024 and 2025 in Birmingham and Belfast, we’re pleased to announce that it’s 2026 edition is being hosted at Manchester Metropolitan University, with the theme of defending public administration in theory and practice. In an era of intense pressure on public institutions, this theme invites critical reflections on why public administration is so important, and how it can be sustained and protected as a discipline, profession and site of public value and democracy. The conference will showcase cutting edge research and dialogue on defending the principles, practices and public purposes of administration against systemic stress, erosion of trust and rising contestation.
