Along with colleagues in ESRI, Peru has been awarded a grant of £550k to evaluate the impact of Reading Plus on pupils in Year 6 of primary school. The study will commence in November 2023, with intervention – Reading Plus – running over the school year 2024/25. Findings are likely to be published in early-2026. The trial will run in around 100-120 primary schools. The Co-PIs for this project are Steph Ainsworth and Stephen Morris.


There will be published protocols and a statistical analysis plan along with project report and academic articles and papers.
