Sarah Page examines the United Kingdom pupil experience of racism and race-hate-related extremism through research

In the new paper published today by the British Journal of Community Justice author Sarah Page examines the United Kingdom pupil experience of racism and race-hate-related extremism through research conducted with school and college pupils from a city in the Midlands of England.

As noted by the author:

“We discovered that racial tension is pervasive in the lives of these young people and that simultaneous intervention is required in school, in the community, on social media and in news reports in order to address racism.”

A blog to accompany the paper can be found here.
