This paper explores and develops a model for Community Justice and Community Safety\u00a0in which three ‘drivers’ of Protection, Rehabilitation and Inclusion are held in\u00a0constructive tension. The model identifies the different objectives, assumptions and\u00a0methods of each driver and links these with recent trends and policies impacting on\u00a0community justice. The model aims to show how Community Safety and Community\u00a0Justice works at the hub of these three drivers and suggests that a joined\u2013up, over-arching\u00a0strategy driven by partnership working can integrate the three elements of the model.
