All articles and back issues for the journal are now freely available on this website.<\/p>\n

\nAndrew <\/span><\/a><\/u>is a Senior Lecturer in Criminal Justice at Sheffield Hallam University. He teaches on a variety of courses including the Professional Qualification in Probation. Andrew\u2019s recent research includes emotional labour of probation practice. Formerly worked as a Probation Officer.<\/p>\n

Kris Christmann \u2013 Department of Security & Crime Science at University College London (UCL)
\nKris is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Security & Crime Science at University College London (UCL). I have over two decades of research experience, primarily for a range of Central Government clients as well as Local Government and third sector customers and other funders (EU, CREST, research councils) working across many areas of the CJS. My research interests concern violence in its many manifestations; political violence, radicalisation, extremism and hate crime. More recently, with colleagues, he has been researching UK police officer\u2019s online safety (<\/span>3PO<\/a><\/u>); and impacts of social media use on serious youth violent crime\/knife crime. His doctoral work examined the evolution of tactical repertories and innovations between police and protestors, including the impact of state surveillance practices and counter-measures.<\/p>\n

Benjamin Archer – Sheffield Hallam University
\nBen is a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Law & Justice, Sheffield Hallam University. As an early-career academic, his research focuses on anti-social behaviour and the regulation of public spaces. Before joining the journal’s editorial board, he worked as a Proofing Assistant.<\/p>\n

Paul Gray – Manchester Metropolitan University UK
\nPaul is a Reader in Criminology and Co-Director of the Manchester Centre for Youth Studies. His current research investigates the relationship between childhood trauma and adolescent substance use and offending behaviour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vickie Barrett – Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social and Psychological Sciences, The University of Huddersfield.
\nVickie\u2019s research interests are shaped by her experience of working as a Probation Officer in the National Probation Service. Vickie is a mixed methods researcher interested in the sanctioning of \u2018rulebreakers\u2019 from a multi-disciplinary perspective, probation practitioner wellbeing, and interventions to support desistance.<\/p>\n

Benedicte Brahic – Senior Lecturer in Sociology
\nBenedicte is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her research work is concerned with gender and bordering in migration and education contexts.<\/p>\n

Daniela Mardones Bravo – Manchester Metropolitan University, Policy Evaluation Research Unit (PERU)
\nDaniela is a Chilean criminologist and lawyer specialising in prisons, punishment, transitional justice, and qualitative research. Her work explores older prisoners’ experiences, criminal justice policy, and the sociology of punishment, with a strong focus on understanding penal practices.<\/p>\n
